Today: Rather cloudy and damp during the morning, with some rain, perhaps occasionally heavy in the east. The cottage is clean and well furnished and Fiona was a really attentive host HIghly recommend. Absolutely gorgeous house. Really nice place, very clean. Highly recommended!

Yes please. The location was great and in close distance of Lovers Walk and Matlock. View Hotel. High chair, baby monitor and travel cot would highly recommend to others. We loved staying here. Perfect house to spend a weekend with family or friends. There is a great little heater but we very much benefitted from the extra layers! Outstanding facilities and brilliant hosts,we even got a bottle of fizz and some chocolates on arrival. This is the place to stay. We had a family room which consisted of a lovely big main bed room with a huge bed plus a little annexe room with bunk beds for the kids - perfect rather than cramming everyone into one room like most places do!!!! The kitchen if fully fitted out with everything to could need to cook Amazon fire stick with access to all amazon prime movies and Netflix. Anne and David are very friendly and welcoming, and have made the cottage the perfect country getaway. We stayed as we had some essential safety works to be done at home. Brewells Barn. I can't recommend enough. We went during the busy illuminations event and it was nice and quiet there even though it was very busy in the main street. John Smedley's Mill is nearby which is still producing Knitwear which can be purchased at the Factory Shop. Even the finer details were thought about had everything we needed for our 9month old.
